Angiatto
Overview
Angiatto was an academic project whose goal was to create a design system for an Italian-American restaurant franchise. This project was a challenge to me because it was my first experience creating typography as a logo. My job was to direct a small group of designers from my studies to create this clean and elegant brand. The style deviates slightly from the classic style, but without losing its elegance and simplicity.
I thank everyone involved in this project for their cooperation and for helping with the whole process of research and direction - Giovanna Silva, Ericson Isidoro, Michael Gilbert, and Barbara Santos. Working with different teams helped me to improve as a designer and evolve as a person, therefore I look forward to more projects like this!
Concept
The idea behind the aesthetics is focused on creating a guideline that could transmit the experience of enjoying the taste of every bite on the menu. The mockups for coasters, menus, napkins, paper bags, and cards are infused with the same elegant design language. Each item serves as a canvas, showcasing the integration of each element in a printed design, resonating with the brand's ethos of transforming meals into moments. Angiatto invites you to experience the elegance of timeless dining with a variety of drinks, plates, and desserts.

Our color palette serves as a visual symphony, oscillating between warm and vibrant tones.
Rich hues of red and green infuse the brand with a touch of exotic allure, inviting clients to experience the sensory journey within the restaurant's walls. In crafting the typography for Angiatto, we aimed for a delicate balance between classic and contemporary, a graceful dance of lines and curves that evokes a classic charm, meticulously handcrafted to evoke a sense of sophistication.
