Serenity

Overview

Serenity is a new and emerging jewelry brand that aims to provide simple and clean designs catering to a female audience. The brand embodies a sense of calm and tranquility, offering high-quality pieces for everyday wear. Being the digital designer for this project, I was tasked with creating their social media advertisement and an online shop that not only showcases exquisite jewelry but also provides a seamless shopping experience.

Challenge

As a brand new online store, my biggest challenge was to work with a new brand that didn't have any audience online. Starting an online shop from scratch involves many steps and people working in the background. It's really important, as a UX designer, to work on a strategy that will bring more customers by making them trust your brand and giving them a reason to come back.

Strategy & Solutions

After careful research and analysis, we crafted our strategy into our designs, creating solutions that could engage more customers with our new brand, and using personas and surveys to get more in-depth into the customer's needs, such as responsiveness design, SEO optimization, high-quality imagery, and social media integration.

Research & Discovery

To kickstart the project, I conducted a comprehensive market analysis to gain insights into the competitive landscape of the jewelry industry. This involved studying established brands, identifying design trends, and understanding consumer preferences.

Through surveys and interviews, I gathered valuable data on preferences, shopping habits, and style inclinations of our female demographic.

Shopping

Serenity specializes in rings, earrings, and necklaces. You can see one of the shopping pages below where you can access all the necklaces in stock. The client wanted it simple, but strictly organized, separating the categories by collection, price, and materials. All the colors were selected by the client with my orientation.

The design strategy was also applied to other kinds of media, making sure that the marketing goals were in alignment with the brand's aim, creating an online presence, personalizing email campaigns, and establishing to maintaining a strong and engaging newsletter to subscribers with curated content.
