Starlight
Overview
"Follow The Starlight" was my first experience building a landing page. It's an indie 2D game for a small Canadian studio called Enchantedpixel, where I was privileged to be invited to participate in the project. My job was to create their promotional landing page for their second game launch. I was responsible for creating the interface and the experience for the website, working with a small team of illustrators and marketing managers.
The game follows the journey of a character named Luna who travels through magical words to bring back the brilliance to the night sky of Lumaria, the village where everything starts. It invites players to embark on a magical journey while exploring beautiful worlds throughout the journey.
Study & Approach
My journey began with a comprehensive study of the game's narrative, ensuring that every section served as a guide to the user as a story-telling of the game. The color palette chosen for this landing page was built following the guidelines for the 2D illustrations, using darker tones combined with vivid colors to evoke the magic woven into the game's narrative. The copy was crafted to not only inform but also to entice, inviting users to become part of the celestial journey.
Follow the Starlight is not just a game—it's an enchanting experience. My design approach aimed to seamlessly blend the magic of Lumaria with a user-friendly interface, crafting a landing page that invites exploration and beckons players to embark on a celestial journey.
Single-Page
The landing page follows a one-page website highlighting the external links to purchase their product. Not every landing page is a one-page-only website, but this is not a rule. The main purpose was to convert clicks to PPC using marketing strategies and visual story-telling implemented with the user experience throughout their journey when navigating through the page.

As a game lover myself, being part of game development is an unforgettable experience even coming from a small studio. The visuals for this game were completely thought out and projected to guide players throughout their mission within worlds, bringing life to their experience and helping them to enjoy the features the game includes. Transforming all of this into a website wasn't an easy task, but definitely something I'd love to do again.
