Malina coffee shop unfolds as a visual symphony, harmonizing aesthetics with the comforting essence of a cup of coffee on a rainy day. This project is a testament to the power of design in shaping an immersive experience that extends beyond the beverage itself. My responsibility was to create a visual identity for this brand as a study for my branding class, including the logo.

Malina branding is a testament to the belief that, just like a perfect cup of coffee, good design has the power to leave an indelible mark on people's memory.

Concept

In the pursuit of creating the Malina brand, the visual elements come together in a conceptual symphony, orchestrating an atmosphere that transcends the ordinary. The fusion of comforting colors, floral elegance, and a minimalist logo design invites patrons to partake in a multisensory journey—one where the love for coffee converges with the artistry of design.

my choices

Coffee cups, bags, coasters, and imagery are adorned with carefully crafted floral patterns, giving each element a sense of comfort. This calming hue elicits a sense of tranquility, seamlessly intertwined with the aromatic allure of freshly brewed coffee. The neutral beige undertones further amplify the warmth, creating a delicate balance reminiscent of a cherished corner in a coffee lover's dreamscape.

The delicate floral patterns adorning the background evoke a connection with nature, mirroring the organic origins of the coffee bean. The logo takes the form of line art reminiscent of a coffee plantation. This choice is a deliberate nod to the birthplace of the coffee bean, grounding the brand in its roots. The adaptability of the logo to various packaging materials ensures an extension of the brand across diverse mediums, maintaining a consistent visual language.
